INTRODUCTION.

  • The electrical energy has become an indispensable part of our lives, is inconceivable level of development without the continued presence of the same.

If we consider a short space of time we realize that everything around us is presented in the state that presents us with the intervention of electricity.

The following table shows the variation in electricity consumption has occurred in Spain in recent years:

is noted that electric power consumption in Spain during the period 1990 - 2005 have suffered a 121822 GWh total variation which is or increase the wattage kind that yields 94%.

If we consider the English GDP growth over the same period will see that the increase could be related to the increase in the electrical wattage kind that yields.

previous indications are made with a dual purpose:

a) Be aware of the importance of electric power development has of our societies.

b) lead us to the realization of a deep reflection on how to combine the following three factors: development sustainable electricity consumption and the environment. In the XXI century it is essential to properly organize the three factors above in order to contrubir to the rescue of our planet, to be able to diminish the greenhouse effect, climate change, etc.

Regardless of whether or not an electrical technician, if it would be appropriate that any educated person in today's society tiviese basic knowledge which involve energy transformations in order to increase their sensitivity to achieve the most efficient use possible electrical energy.

DEFINITION OF ELECTRICITY.

  • Electricity is a form of expression the energy, energy being able to produce everything work.

There is a conversion of mechanical energy into electrical energy, electrical energy is obtained through the rotation (mechanical energy) of a loop (electrical conductor) within a magnetic field.

power is "pulled "to the electrical circuit through the brushes can thus feed a receiver (light) or a group of receivers.

In this case the transformation the reverse happens, we have an electric generator (battery) which supplies a brush through a loop causing the rotation of the same (mechanical energy) within it.
In the next slide down some types of energy transformations, sets out the two fundamental principles of thermodynamics.

DEFINITION OF ELECTRICITY (II)

  • electricity or electric current is the movement of electrons from a negative charge to positive charge outside.
ELEMENTARY ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT.

  • The elementary circuit is constituted by:
  1. energy source.

  2. Receiver.
  3. opening and closing mechanism.
  4. wires.

CHARACTERISTICS OF CIRCUITS IN HOUSING.

For some of the characteristics of electrical circuits in homes follow this link: ITC 25

Summary:

two degrees are contemplated in residential electrification:

  • basic electrification. (Min. 5750 w)

  • Electrification
  • high. 9200 wo more)

electrification Circuits Basic

  • C1 Internal distribution network, intended for the points of light.

  • C2 internal distribution circuit, for sockets for general use and refrigerator.

  • C3 internal distribution circuit, for feeding the stove and oven.

  • C4 internal distribution circuit, for feeding the washing machine, dishwasher and electric heater.

  • C5 internal distribution circuit, for power outlets and bathrooms, as well as auxiliary bases kitchen room.
high electrification Circuits:

The same as in most other basic complentarios such as
  • C6 additional circuit C1, for every 30 points of light

  • C7 additional circuit C2, for every 20 outlets used or if the floor space of housing is greater than 160 m2.

  • C8 internal distribution circuit, for the electrical heating system where there is provision it.

  • C9 internal distribution circuit, for the air conditioning installation, when there is anticipation of this

  • C10 internal distribution circuit, for the installation of a freestanding dryer

  • C11 internal distribution circuit, for the supply of automation systems, technical management and energy security, when there is anticipation of it.

  • C12 additional circuits of either C3 or C4 types, when providing, or additional circuit C5, when the number of outlets exceeds 6.

characters are established each of the circuits as well as the points of use of each circuit to be installed in each housing unit. (See table 25 in the ITC link: ITC 25)

The elements are arranged on the table for this assembly are:

  • Power Control Switch. (ICP)

  • General Auto Switch (IGA)

  • for surge protection device.

  • Differential Power switch (ID)

  • Small Circuit-breakers for each of the circuits.
REBT The ITC 17, provides some of the characteristics of previous devices, follow the link: ITC 17

gauges each device and the sections of each circuit can be seen in Fig.

can call attention to the fact that the circuit has been divided C4 enter more independent circuits in this way to feed three receivers: washing machine, dishwasher and electric heat.

did the fact that this division does not mean you have to install another ID but we have surpassed the five PIAS, this is because the circuit C4 is still considered a single circuit.

Schematic overview control and protection for the high degree of electrification.

The scheme is similar to the above, change the characteristics of the protection elements as well as the number of circuits, as there are more than five PIAS ID must fit two
