Sigismund Schlomo Freud or Sigmund Freud was an Austrian neuropsychiatrist medical graduate of the University of Vienna and controversial father of psychoanalysis.
Sigmund did not like chocolate, almost always slept on his back staring at the ceiling of his house for a while thinking, studying little and had trouble concentrating, liked to walk in the park and get the breeze in his face, he hated the Nazis and liked to kiss his mother before going to sleep and believed that women were the most perfect creation of God ... OK this whole paragraph is a lie. I always thought that biographies are unnecessary when talking about someone who has been crucial for humanity or not, it creates patterns of behavior that the "fans" of these characters want to follow, for example: read the first part of this paragraph Freud surely admire and from tomorrow will say that he does not like chocolate and leave to walk every morning in the park. Sigmund
is perhaps the most famous psychiatrist in the history of psychology and psychiatry. I ever said in my first exhibition as a student of Psychology: "When you think of Sigmund Freud think of something like the Michael Jackson of Psychology" (without children). Why? controversial, publicized, and adored by many.
freudomanÃa reaches the point that some psychiatrists to "lack of personality" make every effort to look like his admired Freud, left the beard, begging to stay semi bald or shave and the most comical and chilling time is coming to assimilate Freud's eyes and looks intimidating.
But is that a single psychiatrist (there are many) could penetrate so well and deeply into the history of psychology and in the lives of their "psiquiseguidores? Freud
treating neurosis of his patients drew several conclusions about human behavior and the causes of trauma neurotic inventadose a "scientific" method for the treatment of these patients called psychoanalysis.
psychoanalysis more than a science or a branch of psychology is a model of therapy, Freud is the name given to the way the treated the neuroses, and gave results to the point of creating theories and redefine many aspects of psychology.
